#IrishFictionFortnight - Day 1 - Giveaway of Clodagh Murphy's 'Some Girls Do'

Day 1 - Giveaway 2

I am delighted to have another giveaway today, thanks to the author, Clodagh Murphy.

Here's the blurb ....

Claire Kennedy, aka internet sensation NiceGirl, is the anonymous author of a steamy sex blog. She's an expert at writing about sex, but little do her fans know that bookish Claire isn't quite as experienced in the bedroom as her online persona. But everyone makes stuff up on the internet, right?

Except that NiceGirl attracts the attention of London publisher Mark Bell. Handsome, charming and successful, Mark is offering Claire the life she's always dreamed of - a steady relationship, the literary world of London and a hot book deal.

But when Claire enlists the help of brooding artist Luca to brush up on her sex skills before she's discovered for a fraud, things begin to get complicated...

Great sex, friendship AND love - can't a girl have it all?

Some Girls Do is published by Hachette Ireland and is available in paperback and ebook format.

  1. I know it's a childrens book but Under the Hawthorn Tree by Marita Conlon McKenna. It reminds me how much I loved reading as a child. I nearly knew this book off by heart, I absolutely loved it. I've read and studied it more recently with my own class in primary school (I'm a teacher) and they loved it just as much as I did.

  2. Every Christmas I <3 to read Maeve Binchy This year it Will be Different. Great irish short stories

  3. PS. I Love You - I remember reading this in the summer and sobbing into my sun lounger

  4. P.S. I Love You and Where Rainbows End were my first two 'adult books'! These are probably the books that got me into reading!

  5. I don't have,but I hope I will :)
